The Standing Company, based in Saginaw, Michigan, is contemplating a visit to New England during the first week of October. To make the most of this visit they hope to set up demonstrations of their line of standing wheelchairs (manual, half-power, and full-power) at various locations throughout New England. Consequently, they are interested in hearing from organizations or groups of individuals who would be willing to host and/or participate in a demonstration.
If you are interested in hosting a demonstration contact The Standing Company at 1-800-STANDING (1-800-782-6346 FAX: 989-746-9185).

I have been using The Standing Company’s half-power standing wheelchair since early June and am extremely happy with the chair’s design, construction, and performance. I am especially pleased with the increased mobility and independence it has given me. Additionally, during a recent anniversary trip to Acadia National Park I was able to drive my wife and myself up to the summit of Cadillac Mountain, transfer to my chair, and stand to take the pictures shown below.
